Saves
Time
What
about the amount of work time employers lose because their
employees are stuck in traffic? This may not seem like
a big deal until you do the math. If an average
worker is 10 minutes late (and we’ll play it conservatively
and say that happens only once a week.) And that company has
100 employees, that adds up to as much as 822 lost work
hours per year! Lost productivity equals
lost profits, and that is a problem for everyone. In fact, a
recent study by the Texas
Transportation Institute estimated that the annual cost of traffic
delays in the United States is $68 billion.
